April came and is already gone.

April was a very short and fast month for me. The snow was still melting which meant my well was still filling with water every few hours needing to be pumped – I swear it was like having a newborn baby all over again. Spring break followed and instead of enjoying our break the kids and I loaded up in the car and trekked back down to Arizona. Again. This time with the goal of finding our new home.

On a hot Wednesday morning as we waiting for our realtor the kids were playing in the park across from the home we were waiting to see. Turns out I quite enjoyed that time and was able to get a few shots of the cactus.

Who knew cactus could be purple? This is right across from our new home.

These were my favorite. This is an enormous saguaro.

This is my favorite of all.

The trip was a good one. Very short and furiously paced. Exhausting is probably the best work I could use. Stressful. Productive as well. And come July we’ll again head south to set up our new house and get the kids started in their new school. Best of all my husband should be returning from Korea shortly after we get moved.
